Jackbox Games has an affiliate marketing program through a platform called ShareASale. This program allows content creators and outlets to earn a commission on sales driven through their content. The program generates unique links to the Jackbox Games shop that makes tracking sales and distributing commission possible.

Where is the affiliate program available?

Right now, sales in the official Jackbox Games shop are valid in the United States only. For now, any applicants outside of the United States will be rejected to avoid confusion. We hope to expand our shop to additional territories in the coming months. As we add additional territories, we will open up the opportunity to affiliates outside of the United States. You need to have a United States residential address to qualify. Using a VPN will not permit you to circumvent this rule. How do I join the Jackbox Games affiliate marketing program?

You can apply to join the Jackbox Games affiliate program via this link. You will be required to review the Jackbox Games affiliate agreement and share information about yourself through the application process. Your application will then be sent to Jackbox Games for review.

Please expect up to 2 weeks of delay between the time you apply and the time you hear back about the status of your application. If you are declined, no further information will be provided from our team. You are welcome to apply again in the future but please know that spamming the application process will lead to an automatic rejection.

What happens if I’m approved?

If you are approved, you will be able to log into your ShareASale platform and receive unique links for the Jackbox Games shop that are connected to your ShareASale profile. These are the links you should make your audience aware of! If you only promote going to shop.jackboxgames.com by itself, those sales will not be trackable back to you and you will not receive a commission. Promote your unique affiliate links!

If your audience is watching and clicks through your affiliate links to make a purchase, that will be tracked in the ShareASale dashboard. You will receive a commission for that sale. What if my audience doesn’t want to purchase for Steam and goes to another platform (Xbox, Apple, PlayStation, Nintendo, etc.) to make their purchase?

The Jackbox Games affiliate program is only available through the official Jackbox Games shop. We sell Steam codes (usable for PC/Mac/Linux computers) only. We do not sell our games directly on any other storefront and are not able to make our affiliate program available for codes sold for other platforms or from other websites. This means that even if someone purchases their code from the official Steam store, that does not apply to our affiliate program.

How much commission can I earn for a sale in the program?

Commission percentages are subject to change at any time. You will be able to see the latest commission rates in your ShareASale dashboard if you are approved to join the program.
